Audit
We work through the business with you: how it runs day to day, and where and how your customers are reached. Everything gets written down, including the workarounds nobody mentions in a meeting.
Four stages, always in this order. You see something real at the end of each one, and you can stop after any of them.
We work through the business with you: how it runs day to day, and where and how your customers are reached. Everything gets written down, including the workarounds nobody mentions in a meeting.
You get the scope in writing, with a fixed price on it, before a line of it is built. Nothing gets made off a conversation, and nothing gets billed by the hour.
We build in weekly pieces you can look at and use. You see working software every week, not a status deck.
Documentation, training and every key and login. The system is yours. Made-to-last means it keeps running whether or not we are still involved.
| Stage | What leaves with you |
|---|---|
| 1 · Audit | A written map of how the business runs and where its customers come from |
| 2 · Spec | Scope and a fixed price, in writing, before anything is built |
| 3 · Build | Working software you can use, delivered in weekly pieces |
| 4 · Handover | Documentation, training, and every account in your name |
We write the scope down first, which is what lets us put a firm number on it. Every job is priced on its own size. You approve that number before anything is built, and it does not go up because the work took us longer than we thought.
Code, accounts, domains and documentation all transfer to your name at handover. If you want us watching over it afterwards, you ask for that. It is never a condition of the work.
We answer the phone. Same town, same time zone, same table.
Billing by the hour rewards a job staying vague. The longer it stays unclear, the more it earns, and nobody involved has a reason to fix that. We would rather do the thinking up front, write it down, and put a price on it.
It also gives you an exit. If the spec comes back and the number is wrong for you, you walk away holding a written map of your own operation. That is worth having either way.
Start with the audit. We go through the business with you and write down what we find.
